Back in March, Airtel introduced Airtel Surprise offer for post-paid customers, under which it offered free 30GB data for 3 months (10GB / month), to take on Reliance Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. With the promotional offering coming to an end, the teleco has announced a new offer.
Roman",serif;">The Monsoon Surprise Offer is an extension of the Surprise Offer by another three months, under which postpaid users will continue to get 30GB of 4G data (10GB / month) for another three billing cycles.
The free data can be claimed using My Airtel app after July 1, and will be available for both new users, and those who have already availed the data earlier.
The scene has been same so far, with the intense competition from Reliance Jio, telecom operators in the country having been coming out with new plans or packs, every now and then, to counter Jio's offering and prevent existing customers from jumping ship.
