Following the release of MediaPad M3 Lite 10, Huawei is out with another tablet. The new MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 is the smaller sibling of the 10.1-inch model, and sports the same slim aluminum design but comes with smaller display and battery capacity.
The MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 has 8.4-inch 1920 x 1200 pixels IPS display and 4800mAh battery instead of MediaPad M3 Lite 10.0's 10.1-inch display and 6600mAh battery. Apart from these changes the rest the specs sheet are identical.

It runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1 comes with octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, 8MP front and rear camera, microSD card slot, 4G LTE (optional), WiFi and Bluetooth. It is 7.5mm thin and includes a fingerprint sensor, that's baked into the home button and Harman Kardon tuned dual speakers.
The tablet will be offered in two versions: 3GB RAM/32GB storage or 4GB RAM/64GB storage in WiFi and LTE models.
As of now, the MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 is announced in Russia, and there's no word on pricing and availability.
