Samsung Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7 2017 edition is now official


After months of leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally introduced the 2017 editions of Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in Europe. 

They are budget smartphones sporting an all-metal unibody design with U-shaped antenna bands. Moreover the phones run Android Nougat,  and the Galaxy J5 & J7 (2017) come with fingerprint scanner.

First up, the Galaxy J3 (2017) is the most affordable of the lot, and features 5-inch HD TFT display, quad-core Exynos 7570 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP/5MP cameras and 2400mAh battery. It will cost 219 Euros ($245 | Rs. 16,000) when it launches in Europe in August.

The Galaxy J5 (2017) features 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It comes with 13MP front and rear cameras, and 3000mAh battery. It carries a price tag of 279 Euros ($315 | Rs. 20,000) and will hit European market in July.

The Galaxy J7 (2017) specs include 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP front and rear cameras and 3600mAh battery. It will be available in Europe in June and has been priced at 279 Euros ($382 | Rs. 24,600).

All the 2017 edition Galaxy J models will have selfie flash at the front, microSD card slot for storage expansion, and will be offered with single or dual-SIM slot options. They support 4G LTE and NFC for connectivity and comes in Black and Gold colors.

The Galaxy J 2017 edition is also expected to make its way to the Indian market in the coming months.
