Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus gets official


The Moto G5S and G5S Plus, has been made official by Motorola. They are Special editions of the Moto G5 & G5 Plus, which was released back in March and comes with bigger display, improved cameras and an all metal unibody design, crafted from a single piece of high-grade aluminum instead of metal & plastic. 

The Moto G5S features 5.2-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3, a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 3000mAh battery with fast charging (get up to five hours of use with just 15 minute charge). It gets a single 16MP  rear camera with PDAF and 5MP wide-angle front camera with an LED flash.

The Moto G5 Plus on the other hand gets a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 3000mAh battery. The main highlight is the dual-camera setup, with two 13MP units (one color sensor, and the other black-and-white sensor), just like the Moto Z2 Force. The dual-camera will offer features like capturing depth information for bokeh effect, background replacement, and make select part of photo black-and-white. For selfies it gets an 8MP wide-angle shooter, and also includes support for NFC connectivity.

They run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and get the front mounted gesture supported front mounted fingerprint scanner, and seperate slots for dual-SIM and microSD card.

The Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus have been priced at 219.99 EUR and 259.99 EUR respectively, and will be available in Lunary Gray and Blush Gold colors.
