Samsung SM-T380/SM-T385 will reportedly be called Galaxy Tab A2 S

An unreleased budget tablet from Samsung with model number SM-T380/SM-T385 was spotted at several places including benchmarks, TENAA, FCC and WiFi Alliance. Up until now, the tablet was being referred to as Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017).

However, according to reliable tipster, Roland Quandt, the tablet launch under a different moniker called Galaxy Tab A2 S, and not Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). Nothing else was revealed.

The Galaxy A2 S is expected to come with 8-inch 1280  x 800 pixels display, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 8MP/5MP (rear and front) cameras and 5000mAh battery. It will run Android Nougat out of the box, and support Bixby Home. There will also be a microSD card slot for storage expansion and an optional 4G LTE model as well.

Unfortunately there is still no information on the tablet's release date and pricing.
