Asus India has reduced the price of ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 (ZC553KL) by Rs. 2,000. It was earlier available in the country for Rs. 14,999, but after the discount, it can now be purchased for Rs. 12,999.

features 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 octa-core chip, 3GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage and a beefy 4100mAh battery. For photography, it gets 16MP f/2.0 rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, along with 8MP f/2.2 front facing camera.
It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box, but is upgradable to Android Nougat. Asus has also confirmed Android Oreo for the device.
