Xiaomi announced the roll out of MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM earlier this month, starting with the Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max 2, in the first phase.
In the second phase, beginning mid-November, MIUI 9 will be out for Mi 5, Mi Max, Redmi 4, Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. That said, Xiaomi has now rolled out MIUI 9 Global Nightly stable update for the MIUI 9 for the Mi 5.
Xiaomi describes nightly stable build as a beta stable release before the final update, to minimize impact of critical bugs. It is released for random users.
The MIUI 9 Global nightly stable update for Mi 5 arrives as MIUI 9.1.1.0.NAAMIEI and weighs in at 571MB. It brings October Android security patch, along with new features like split-screen function, quick swithc, screen recorder, new system animation and more. Check the change-log below.
